Leaving now with sister to Michigan. This is gonna be a fun drive.... ehhh NOT. Def not prepared to freeze my ass off. Right now it's 78 degrees out. Just waiting for the transition zone where it turns to bitter ice ball cold. Holy.. I'm not used to the cold temps. Spending 12 years in Fl away from the ice cold temps of the north has thinned my blood.

If it makes you feel any better, since my grandma got here and rented her car- it's been a near constant 25-54 degrees and I've driven almost 800 miles. It's been a little over a week since the car got here BTW. Also, I've driven in nearly every type of weather for this week. I've had rain, wind, sun, ice, and 50mph winds in hail type rain. Oh yeah, I drove in snow too.... in Texas. I'm not even kidding, had the snow been a bit harder it would've been near blizzard conditions. It was freaking AWESOME!
Keep us up to date with that TP2 of yours. Oh, and maybe put up a few pics here and there. I would've loved to see that Vienna Pitts sign. I once saw a sign on a warehouse beside a gas station in Oklahoma the said Peckerwood Feed Store, I'm not kidding at all. Enjoy your trip!

Just drove through Tennessee, and now halfway through Kentucky. I just drove about 500 miles. Mountains..ugh .. up... an down...then up again. Oh yeah.. "Watch for falling rocks" signs. Hah! How bout boulders! I seen one on the right side in the shoulder. Big ol huge thing. Wouldnt want that bouncin in the middle of the road.

Not much for pics. It's been dark mostly. And Georgia sucks. It's full of dikwad drivers.. cops everywhere that'll give ya a ticket without a blink, and absolutely nothing worth taking a pic of... except for downtown Atlanta. The lights on the buildings looked cool. I videoed it for awhile. Still a hard target for still images (clear ones).

Right now, temp is probably about 25 degrees. Where did you drive to put the 800 miles?

I'm here. Got here at 12pm. Not much snow on the ground. Should snow in tomorrow. Boy this is fun. Cant wait for snowball fights hahah.. I miss that.

Ohio just plain sucks royal balls! That whole state is like a dump. Trashy buildings.... in one place it seemed like the whole city was a construction site.

Two words: Christmas Shopping. All the stores we went to are about 15+ miles away.

Now that I realize what I said, I forgot Siacono lives in Ohio. Sorry man, I wasn't trashing where you live. It's just that while I was driving through Ohio, I seen literally tons of houses and buildings that look like they came out of East Detroit. 95% of what I seen looked like it needed either $50k worth of remodeling or just bulldozed. Doesn't make a good impression at all. It seemed that once I crossed the Michigan border, everything started looking better. Maybe the part of Ohio that Siacono lives in isn't bad, heck he probably has a nice house... I just had bad experiences in that state years ago. It kinda makes you hate a state like one hates an iphone

Anyways, It's snowing out now. Been snowing all night. I was so friggin tired .. put it this way... the night before I left, I slept like crap and got maybe 3 hours worth. The next day, I was up from 11am saturday till 12am last night. I haven't been up like that since I last drove here, which was '99. I wake up this morning, and the moment I step outside, I'm AWAKE! Yeah, 21 degree cold with moderate wind will WAKE your ass up.

If it won't let you then you can send em over to me and I'll get em up for ya if ya want. Also, 21?! I woke up and went outside in 45 and it woke me up, I can't imagine 21. I might go back to sleep if that was the case.

It's COLD up here in Michigan right now. Wind chill is like 5 - 9 degrees.

Let me see if Photobucket will cooperate and let me upload an image. I'm gonna post a pic from my aunts back yard. Shes got lots of Douglas Firs that are 20+ feet tall. Really nice. I do miss my family. They are a really good group of people. Like being home .. my REAL home. Best X-mas I has in a long long time....

Edit - Heres a pic. Just part of the back yard. Lots of nice Fir trees. She has lots of property. Off in the other direction, a neighbor has about 7 horses. I was going to get a pic, but they were staying near the coral... that wind is very bitter.

It's cold allright. It was about 18 degrees last night. Just bites your ears off when the wind blows. It WAS snowing when I took that pic. It has stopped for awhile. I hope it snows more., fixin to go sledding tomorrow with some friends and cousins.

Wore my cheap Brahma hiker shoes. Same thing I always wear. Steel toes and fits like a glove right out of the box. Not many shoes like that at all. No breaking in required. Comfortable fit instantly. Got 2 pairs of socks on. Just bought a pair of thinsulate gloves on clearance at Meijers last night. Oh, did I mention how much I MISS shopping at Meijer! There is no Meijer in Florida. Only Anal Mart. I friggin HATE Wal-F***! Anyway, I will try and get another pic up. Talk in a bit ....
