3G internet access is, to my knowledge, covered under the data part of the Sprint plans, sans tethering. Will there be any kind of price change/increase for 4G access, if you just want 4G on the phone and not for say, a laptop?

Its not that I cannot afford to pay the $220 before rebate, it is the concept of the situation. No wonder they lose customers hand and foot....i am pissed off. Not to mention I got a free month of service last time I re-upped.....nope not this time.....

Sprint Attempts Suicide Again...this time by angering customers with strong-arm extortion tactics.

A new $4.99/month charge has suddenly appeared on my bill, with a notice saying the fee will be waived IF I enroll in autopay, giving Sprint access to my bank account. I have never been late with a payment with my personal and business accounts.

After a brief search, this seems to be some sort of 'policy' change, as the internet is ablaze with complaints about this.

If I can't receive some satisfaction by having this removed, or a monthly credit applied, then I'm out.

Hi guys, I heard hat if you try to buy a new smartphone from sprint and you are on sero plan, they will jack up the price. Right now I pay 30 bucks for everything, and if I want to get newer phone, I will have to change to the 60 dollar a month plan. Has anyone else heard this?

Sprint today announced "Any Mobile, Anytime", a new service plan feature that allows unlimited calling to and from any mobile phone, regardless of carrier. Only calls to/from landlines, calls while roaming, and international calls are deducted from plan minutes. The feature is now included with all of the company's existing "Everything Data" plans, which start at $69.99, and also include unlimited data and messaging. Sprint customers already on these plans will receive the new feature at the start of the next billing cycle. Sprint customers on other plans can switch to a qualifying plan without renewing or extending their contract.

A screenshot from Sprint's Sales Portal that includeds the above roadmap for its WiMAX rollout this year. A number of the yet-to-be-launched cities we've already heard about -- Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, and Charlotte -- but it looks to have some brand new entries. Baltimore residents can look forward to some sort of coverage update in the fourth quarter. Salem (population 3,000) and Milledgeville (population 19,000) are getting the wireless network before most of us, but the service has to start somewhere, right? No indication here of 2010 plans, but last rumor included Boston, Houston, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.
