My wife recently bought a new phone, Sprint Hero, and the only complaint she has is that the battery life is horrible. I found a few companies that sell replacement batteries with higher power and I'm wondering if anyone has had good results with these batteries. I believe the hero originally ships with a 1500 mA battery and I'm wondering how improvement she would get with an 1800 mA battery.

I've also seen 3200 mA out there but these require a new battery cover, I'm guessing because the battery is larger.

Your comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Turn off features that you dont often use. If you have internet in your plan turn off the wifi the location finder i think you can seek an application in adroid market the give this features to turn on and off easy.

Yeah, use Power Manager (from market) to turn off stuff that's probably on... Such as GPS, WiFi, etc.

You can also slightly dim the screen. It's nice. Also, thing with Android, the display takes up a lot of battery.

I have two friends who have these and one gets terrible battery life and one gets great battery life. So they swapped batteries to see if it changed. Same people same battery life. Seems crazy to be so different but it really is all in how you use it.
